The companies, which have common roots from Ifö/Geberit, operate in a joint production facility in Mörrum, Sweden, where the head offices are also located.
Contura Shower AB is an owner-managed company that on 1 September 2023 bought Geberit’s (Ifö) Nordic shower operations. We develop, manufacture, and sell showers.
Contura Steel AB has since 2015 been a family-owned company that develops, manufactures, and sell stainless steel products such as kitchen sinks, laundry benches, outdoor kitchens & water traps.
The customers are mainly the same for both companies and therefore we have a joint sales organization with the Nordics and the Baltic states as our home market. With a strong joint product portfolio, we now need to build up our Nordic sales organization and are therefore looking for salespersons in Norway, Denmark and Finland.
The job
As a salesperson, you are responsible for sales to wholesalers, plumbing firms and chains, construction companies, kitchen stores and DIY stores in your region. Contura Steel’s products are sold under the Contura brand. The showers are sold under the well-known product-names Showerama, Space and Next. Geberits brands; Ifö, Ido and Porsgrund will 2024 be replaced with our own: Contura Shower.
You plan your own sales work and a large part is devoted to expanding our business by acquiring new customers and develop the existing. One of your strengths is to develop and maintain good relationships with your customers. You work with traditional customer visits but also with quotations, training of dealers, product demonstrations, demo days and fairs. You are the first point of contact for the customers and have great back-up from our customer support. We also expect you to contribute with ideas to product development and marketing.
It is an independent job, but you will have close contact and support from your colleagues and manager. Where in the country you live is not important, as you will need to travel to meet the customers. Expect to spend four to five days a week on the road. A company car is included in the role.

What you have
At least 10 years of experience in a similar sales role within the building industry is a requirement. Sales experience with wholesalers, DIY-, kitchen- and plumbing stores is highly advantageous.
As the position requires a lot of communication, it is a requirement that you master the local language fluently in speech and writing as well as English. Swedish is a merit.
You need to master Office and have good computer skills.
Driving license for a car is a requirement
